Quattro bambini indigeni, di età compresa tra i 13 anni e un solo anno di vita, sopravvivono da soli per 40 giorni nella foresta amazzonica colombiana dopo un tragico incidente aereo in cui perdono la madre. In uno degli ambienti più ostili e inaccessibili del pianeta, affrontano fame, piogge torrenziali, predatori e un isolamento assoluto. A guidarli non è solo l’istinto, ma la forza del legame familiare e il sapere ancestrale trasmesso dalla loro comunità Huitoto. “Lost in the Jungle” è il racconto potente e rigoroso di una vicenda che ha commosso il mondo intero, restituendo dignità e centralità a una storia di resistenza infantile e culturale. Four Indigenous children, ranging in age from 13 years to just one year old, survive alone for 40 days in the Colombian Amazon rainforest after a tragic plane crash in which they lose their mother. In one of the most hostile and inaccessible environments on the planet, they face hunger, torrential rains, predators, and absolute isolation.
